This is my WHY
To challenge myself, to share my knowledge, to continue to learn, and to grow!
I’ve thought about taking this path many times. To start a blog and create content. It’s been a goal of mine for a while now. Yet it’s taken me longer to get here then I thought. But I’ve finally decided enough saying some day and to take the plunge. So after making the decision to finally create this blog I had to narrow in and focus all my ideas. I started this process by deciding on why it is I wanted to create this blog. These are the WHY’s that I came up with.
To challenge myself. Writing and sharing has not always been my strong suit. This blog will provide me with another way to help others. As a personal trainer I strive to help others reach their goals and learn the importance of their wellness. I can now go beyond that and help others virtually (which is our current normal with due to Covid-19).
To share my knowledge. I have a lot to offer to help others. I have a strong education background from my bachelors in Kinesiology, my masters of education in Sport and Exercise Science, and my Personal Trainer certificate. I also have my experiences as a fitness enthusiast, a former Division I cross country & track athlete, a personal trainer, and so much more. I want to share what I know to benefit others.
To continue to learn. There is always so much more to learn, to read, to experience. In order for me to continue to provide the best content I can, that is going to require me to continue to learn. There is so much more I want to know and have a better understanding of. To grow. My mantra for 2020 is growth.
To grow in all aspects of my life. In my personal life, in my relationships, in my career, in my fitness, and so much more. This is me stepping out of my comfort zone and doing something to benefit not only me, but others as well.
So here is to this new adventure and all the opportunities that come with it!
