This is ME
My name is Paige Maas. I have shared 10 random facts about me to help you get to know me a little better. I like to think I am a fun, awkward, caring and hard working person.
I am a personal trainer. This last year I went on a huge search to decide what career path I wanted to go down upon graduating and moving across the country. Upon shadowing at the Under Armour Performance Center I was hooked that personal training was the path for me. I love helping others reach their goals, live a healthy life, and connecting with them.
I love to run. Running has been a huge part of my life since I was an tiny little 7th grader. I’ve run cross country and track for a total of 11 years. After high school I ran for the University of Minnesota (Go Gophs!). Since leaving Minnesota I have continued to run, even deciding to train and run a marathon (got canceled this year but I’ll be back to attempt the marathon distance soon).
I love visiting zoos. When ever we travel somewhere we try and check out any zoos near us. My favorite animal to see at the zoo is the giraffe.
I love being outside. My happy place might just be outside surrounded by greenery, blue sky, light breeze, and the sun shining on my face. The thing is I am defiantly a warm body person. I don’t like to be cold so if it is even slightly cold out I am either bundled up or watching from a window.
I love my dog. My husband and I recently rescued a dog from a local shelter. His name is Buddy and he has been the best addition to our family. He has definitely challenged us in new ways but is a big sweetheart.
I live in athletic clothes. Even before I became a personal trainer I lived in athletic clothes. I enjoy being comfy and ready for anything. There really is not many things better then leggings, a comfy crew neck and fuzzy socks when its cold or running shorts and a tank top for those warmer days. Truly cant remember the last time I wore jeans.
I wish I had a green thumb. I have managed to kill every plant I have ever owned. That even includes a cactus. I have tried to include more fake plants, most of which my dog has eaten. Never the less I plan to keep trying and learning.
I love coffee. I use to not like it at all. Then through college all my roommates loved coffee and were really big into coffee. Over the years I eventually found that I liked it and really got into a coffee habit my 5th year of college. Coffee has definitely become part of my everyday routine.
One of my skills is talking. I am an extrovert who loves to connect and talk with others. I like to believe that I can fill any awkward silence. Even if that means I just keep rambling about nothing in particular.
I have zero coordination. Its almost comical how uncoordinated I am. I am constantly tripping or running into things. Staying on me feet is not always an easy task for myself.
